Microsoft's new spin on top-end Surface Book drops the GPU (and price)

Speculations on the Surface Pro 5 possibly arriving soon are bolstered by reports that the current version of the device, the Surface Pro 4, is now offered at a discounted price. With new features speculated all over the net, tech enthusiasts can't wait to see the unveiling of Microsoft's spectacular device.
Moreover, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will reportedly have a USB Type-C support and a robust battery.

It is worth noting that the Wake on LAN support may be leveraged via device management tools such as the System Center Configuration Manager, which is available for the Surface Book, the Surface 3, Surface Pro 3 and 4, paired with any of the previously reported accessories, BetaNews reported. It has to at least match the specification of the current Pro 4 which has 16 GB of RAM and a storage of 1 TB. The previous Surface pen is then said to run on alkaline AAAA battery, so there would be no need to charge it.
Other features were also reported that the Microsoft's Surface Pro 5 would have 2K display variants and 4K for those with a high budget. Hence, the online publication believes that, rather than packing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, it is more likely for the Surface Pro 5 to arrive with the latest Intel processor, the Kaby Lake.
However, according to the latest reports, it is likely for Microsoft to finally launch the Surface Pro 5 this April, and its release will coincide with the arrival of the latest Windows 10 update, otherwise known as the Creator's Update, which is not expected for launching earlier than spring as well. In which would happen in NY this April.
