"The people of Rajouri Garden had elected AAP candidate Shri Jarnail Singh as the MLA to carry forward the development works in the constituency, but he deserted Rajouri Garden to contest the Punjab Assembly elections, leaving the people here in the lurch".

Harjeet Singh, who has a transport business, started his career as a corporate executive and worked in various industries for approximately 25 years.

Singh's Hanuman Road property was initially used by the party as its office.

"In 2012, he joined the Anna movement and went on to become a member of the Aam Aadmi Party".

According to the AAP, Singh is a committed party leader and one of the pillars of the party in west Delhi. He held various positions including Observer of Rajouri Garden Vidhan Sabha seat.

AAP has only made excuses and clashed with the Centre on each and every issue, he said.
