"Any time you play with the force we did tonight, that's what we've been searching for", said Casey. "Set the tone defensively from start to finish from the jump ball".

"That's the way we have to play and continue".

Paul George picked up five fouls and scored just 18 points. Serge Ibaka had 16 points, while Jonas Valanciunas finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds as the Raptors improved to 41-29.

The Pacers fell to 35-34.

"I thought the physicality of the game tonight they brought it and we didn't respond to that defensively", said Pacers coach Nate McMillan. Therefore, given that the Jazz weren't able to get it done in Chicago, they'll have to put together a much better performance if they hope to defeat in tonight and sweep the regular season series.

NOTES: The teams had not met since the Raptors eliminated the Pacers in seven games in an opening-round playoff series last season. They face each other twice more over the next two weeks.

The Raptors led by 17 points after the first half, by 18 after the third quarter and were ahead by as many as 27 in the fourth quarter. The Raptors bench outscored their IN counterparts 13-7 IN the period. The difference between the two teams was such that IN failed to have any positive side IN any of the four quarters, finishing the game with a painful 25-point loss (91-116).

If you had been stuck on a deserted island for the past six months and the first thing you did upon returning to reality was to watch the Utah Jazz play the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, you likely would have never believed that they were the fourth seed in the Western Conference and closing in on a 50-win season.

"They had a lot second-chance opportunities and that was kind of the game", George said. "We need this team to get better and we can't be happy doing it for two games".

Teague converted three free throws with 3:47 left in the quarter to cut the lead to 12 points. The Raptors were 6 for 15 on 3s in the first half while the Pacers hit just 2 of 11 from deep. The Pacers own a losing record against the spread this season at 31-36 and haven't been profitable on the road, going 13-20 at the betting window away from Indiana. IN came in ranked 8th in the National Basketball Association in 3-point percentage at 37 percent.

One of the positives for the Pacers Sunday night was Thaddeus Young's effort pouring in 16 points.

It was a career-best 26th double-double of the season for Valanciunas, which leads the team. The difference can be seen in the statistics: in 41.3% of FG by 49.5% of Toronto, 26.1% in T3 against a great 44.4%, and an abysmal difference in rebounds, in collecting 33 by 51 of Toronto.

Will the under cash tonight when the Raptors host the Pacers at 6:00PM ET? Coming down to the end of the season, we have to keep this up.

The Pacers, coming off victory over the Charlotte Hornets, continued alternating wins and losses, absorbing their sixth defeat in the last 11 games.
