That means Trump, who lost the popular vote in November and has the lowest approval rating of any incoming president, stands to wield unprecedented influence over the nation's judiciary branch and the rulings it will make for decades to come. With visits to the links at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on both Saturday and Sunday, he brought the number of his golfing trips to 11 since taking office eight weeks ago.

The frequency with which Trump plays golf isn't really an issue - just as it wasn't for former President Barack Obama.

Comey said during a House Intelligence Committee hearing Monday that the bureau had "no information" to support tweets from Trump accusing Obama of tapping his phones before the 2016 election.

In doing so, Spicer suggested the man who managed Donald Trump's presidential campaign "had a very limited role" - despite at least two months in charge.

So why won't the White House be more forthcoming about his time on the course? If it is indeed his ninth golf outing, that's a rate of once every 6.4 days.

Trump leveled the accusations of wiretapping at the Obama administration in a series of tweets earlier this month. McIlroy chose to take up the President on the offer, but the White House not only did not disclose Trump was playing golf with McIlroy, they didn't acknowledge that Trump played more than a previously stated intention of a few holes.

Separately, Spicer said Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort had a "limited" role in the campaign.

Dearborn's aide, John Mashburn, conducts a weekly conference call with the advisers, who remain in constant contact with the White House.

Trump's top aides would rather obscure that fact, especially considering the President's past comments about the sport and the White House.
