LeBron James and Tristan Thompson explain beef they had in Cavs huddle

LeBron James shines but Cavs lose again Cavaliers look to get right against 76ers

Then they made up.

Instead of celebrating a 135-130 double-overtime win over an IN team fighting for a playoff spot on Sunday, the Cavs were IN damage control.

James came into Thursday's game against the Chicago Bulls with 28,573 points in 14 seasons with Cleveland and Miami.

While the Pacers have struggled lately, it is hard to not be encouraged by how the Cavs attacked them in the first half.

"That's part of the game", Lue said.

"It's my fault", Lue said when pressed. "Blame it on me", he joked. "Our camaraderie didn't", James said.

"I had good intentions but [I was] a little bit too demonstrative at that point in the game", James said.

"I have to do a better job of not showing up my teammates out on the floor". According to Cleveland.com, Lebron James and Kyrie Irving did not address the team following the loss in the hands of the Bulls. "Little miscommunication in the huddle". Move forward. We're family.

"We have to get on a roll and win some games".

"It is what it is", he added. "Got the win", he said. He played 52 minutes and scored just three points after the fourth quarter.

Here you will see James hit a three with under a minute to go in the second overtime, giving the Cavs a 128-124 lead.

It's not clear what exactly spawned the confrontation as it came immediately after a Kevin Love three-pointer to put Cleveland up by four with less than 30 seconds remaining.

But tensions were still high afterwards following an on-court argument between James and Thompson about how to guard George. Cleveland is muddling through a brutal March in which it has lost 10 of 16 games and fallen a half-game behind the Boston Celtics for first place in the East after a 99-93 loss to the Chicago Bulls.

"It was like a roller coaster", James said.

Plain and simple, teams are running the Cavs off the court when LeBron is on the bench. "But we bounced back, we played aggressive, we stayed together".

The Cavs looked like they had won in the first OT when Smith took a pass from James and hit a left-corner three to put them up 114-113 with 2.8 second left, but things got real insane from there. Thompson and others may go shot for shot with James on a verbal tip consistently. James tied it at 104 with a soft fadeaway with 1:01 left. "Paul George is a great player and he made some shifty moves and got open and made some big shots". George wouldn't allow it, helping send the game into double overtime before falling short."It's fun".

James Harden, who led Houston with 30 points, sank a 3-pointer late in the first quarter to give the Rockets an National Basketball Association record 1,078th 3-pointer this season, breaking the old one-season mark set last season by Golden State.

Neither team scored the remainder of regulation, with Thompson missing two free throws after a highly questionable foul on George with 26 seconds left.

One way Boston may look to neutralize him and an Orlando team with lots of youth and athleticism, is to play more small-ball lineups.

George, who finished with 43 points and scored Indiana's first 13 points in the second overtime, buried a 3-pointer with 49.7 seconds left in the game. There was obvious lack of familiarity there, but any starting lineup sans Ellis seems to work in Indiana's favor, which could make Stephenson a prime candidate for an expedited promotion into the starting lineup, though taking away ball handling from Jeff Teague, who overcome a awful start to finish with 17 points and 11 assists probably isn't going to be in the best interest of Teague's role with Indiana.
