Someone sent an anti-Trump tweet into space

Trolling Trump from all the way Trolling Trump from all the way

His rollbacks on climate change, the Russian connections, blindly supporting Putin even those he's colluding with Syria, his complete and utter ineptitude at the job - it's all piling up and now, protests against Donald Trump are reaching into space.

Edgar Mitchell, the late NASA astronaut who had walked on the moon, once said that when you see Earth from outer space, you develop a "global consciousness.an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it".

Donald Trump is no stranger to being the target of political demonstrations, but now, the USA president has apparently earned the distinction of provoking the "first protest in space".

So while the tweet attached to the weather balloon may seem a little rowdy, it's really just quoting one of the 12 people to have actually stepped foot on our nearest celestial neighbor, and his epiphany that while our world seems very, very large while we are on it, it's actually quite small - and floating in a void of such huge vastness, it does H.P. Lovecraft-ian things to the brain to try to comprehend it.

ASAN, which says it aims to encourage "DIY space exploration", said the tweet was the "first protest in space".

The team printed out a giant tweet from their own Twitter account, which read "LOOK AT THAT, YOU SON OF A BITCH", tagging Trump's personal Twitter account.

"The protest came about as a grassroots reaction to concerns about the Trump administration's perceived war on science". Trump's policy proposals in the science sphere have included a proposal to slash NASA's Earth science program, which puts him squarely in the sights of a group like ASAN.
