SS Rajamouli is quite keen and focussed on his next Baahubali: The Conclusion.

"Kannada Okoota", an umbrella organisation of Kannada bodies, has announced "Bengaluru Bandh" on April 28, the date of release of the most anticipated Indian movie of the year, to protest the remarks of Sathyaraj, who plays the key character of "Katappa" in the epic fantasy.

This is after Sathyaraj (who is seen as Kattappa in Baahubali) had allegedly made "hurtful" remarks.

An ultimatum has been issued to ban Baahubali 2 in Karnataka if Sathyaraj doesn't publicly apologize for his comments. So producers are contemplating releasing the film on their own with the assistance of a famous distributor. Unless the actor apologises, the screening will not take place in Karnataka.

Baahubali 2 is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works. "The only thing I want to say is we will resolve the issue amicably in the interest of all concerned". Rao wanted to know why the issue was being raked up now.

Director SS Rajamouli, in an earlier interview, had however expressed the opinion that this situation was not fair. Some videos were posted on the internet.

A past comment made by Kattappa aka Sathyaraj is coming to haunt the makers of Baahubali 2 in Karnataka.

Vatal Nagaraj, president, Kannada Okkoota, said: "Kannada organisations are not against the film and its producers, but against the actor who insulted Karnataka and Kannada activists". "They could have protested then, why now It is inappropriate to rake up this issue at this point of time", the assistant director said. Will Baahubali 2 see a release in Karnataka or not remains a burning question.
