Both the devices will have 18:9 aspect ratio, which has also been seen its contemporary rival, LG G6, and will offer a bezel-less design. The Galaxy S8 is fueled by a 3,000 mAh Battery. There was no need for a stand-alone curved-display phone this year round.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus would also be available starting from May 5 with price tag of Rs 69,000, while dealers may sell it at Rs 63,900.

Still, Spoonauer was clear that the Galaxy S8 is a "fantastic phone".

Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED panel, whereas the S8 Plus features a slightly larger 6.2-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED panel. Actual sales of both the phones will start from May 5. "The Samsung galaxy s8 and s8 plus is water and dust resistant (IP68 rating)". The Indian variant of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ is likely to come with Exynos 8895 chipset which is an Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. If you wish to watch the live streaming of Galaxy S8 event, you will have to visit the Samsung India website (http://www.samsung.com/in/microsite/galaxy-s8-webcast/#). Moreover, the smartphone also comes bundled with Samsung's own AI assistant dubbed Bixby.

In addition to the March security patches - which bring fixes for dozens of vulnerabilities in Android, and some unique to Galaxy devices - they also include "various system improvements".

The new phones come with Samsung's new digital assistant Bixby, which will compete with Apple's Siri, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

But according to reports, a Samsung representative confirmed on Twitter that the button remapping is just a temporary feature and it may not be an official function of the device in the coming days.

The analyst further mentions that the details about the camera module, featuring 3x optical zoom, 12-megapixel wide-angle CIS supporting dual photodiode (2PD), 13MP telephoto CIS, dual 6P lenses and dual Optical Image Stabilization.

However, the red tint issue comes at a very bad time for Samsung especially after Galaxy Note 7's battery issue previous year.

Another bold move from Samsung as it hasn't invested in a new primary camera module. At the end, nothing happened with the new Galaxy S8's battery though they even tried a heavy cutter tool to cut the phone from the middle.
