The news came after several days of Big Boi teased on social media. Compared to the poppier "Mic Jack", this one goes hard.

Big Boi announced the new solo album Boomiverse yesterday (April 19), telling his faithful that two new singles we're coming out fast.

He'll share the first single "Mic Jack", featuring Adam Levine, Thursday (aka 4/20) on Beats 1.

Produced by DJ Dahi and DJ Khalil, "Mic Jack" makes you want to dance, pairing Big Boi's funky vibe with Levine's catchy hook.

There's no doubt that Big Boi is one of the most under-appreciated rappers in the game. And the second, which features Killer Mike and Jeezy called "Kill Jill". This is not the first time that Big Boi has collaborated with Killer Mike - they have a long and historied body of work together. It will be released via a new label deal with Epic Records. He also released a joint collaboration with Phantogram called Big Grams in 2015, which was a seven-track EP containing appearances from both Run The Jewels as well as Skrillex.
