Cape Town - Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin believes Leicester forward Jamie Vardy has what it takes to play for most clubs in the world, including Diego Simeone's side.

Leicester were outclassed for large parts of the first leg at a fervent Vicente Calderon Stadium but, crucially, return to the King Power Stadium on Tuesday with their storied opponents well in their sights after Antoine Griezmann's solitary goal.

Ronaldo's brace in Germany moved him onto 100 European club goals, and has placed Los Blancos in a commanding position ahead of the return match at the Bernabeu next week.

Having reached the final in two of the last three years, however, Atletico are a team of greater pedigree and expectations than their compatriots. And once again, unfavored by the oddsmakers - they've been given about a 3-1 chance of going through while Atletico is the overwhelming favorite.

The referee pointed to the penalty spot and although television replays showed the foul was at least a foot outside of the penalty area, Griezmann sent Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way from the spot to open the scoring.

A decision on whether captain Wes Morgan will face Atletico will be taken on Tuesday, manager Craig Shakespeare said on Monday.

"Leicester thought they had a tough night in Spain". It might be something they [Atletico] are not used to so that's something we can use in our favour'.

"Atletico are a very good team, their work ethic is exceptional".

"It's going to be a hard return leg".

"We've scored goals from it before", said Drinkwater after Leicester's Robert Huth scored a head goal from a Fuchs throw-in in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace. Ultimately we have to get our own house in order. We might never be here again, we might be at some point again.

"There's a lot of pressure all the time, this year it was fighting against relegation and we came out of that. We have to make sure we're ready and focused for the game".
