The victor of last year's Eurovision Song Contest had her performance at this year's competition overshadowed by an Aussie's bare bottom.

While many would argue there was more than one bum note at Saturday night's Eurovision Song Contest finale in Kiev, a Ukrainian prankster's stage invasion may prove to be the most memorable.

The streaker interrupted the mid-show performance by 2016 Eurovision victor Jamala, and managed to flash his backside to the world before a burly security guard wrestled him off stage.

The prankster is now detained by the Ukrainian authorities for 72 hours and soon he will be facing the charges of this prank.

"During the performance of our Jamala, according to his own words, he made a decision to realise his hobby as he 'unofficially works as a provocative journalist",' Mr Avakov wrote.

Sediuk, 28, has pulled pranks on Brad Pitt, Adele and Will Smith - and previous year tried to pinch Kim's bottom in Paris.

He once struck actor Brad Pitt in the face as he signed autographs in Los Angeles.

He also breached the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival to try to climb under actress America Ferrera's dress as she posed for photographers.

Saturday's Eurovison contest was won by Salvador Sabral of Portugal.
