Nothing would make Avery Bradley happier than ending series vs

The Celtics couldn't get out of their own way during the first quarters of Games 1, 2, and 3 of their second-round series with the Wizards.

The Celtics have a chance to end their Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Wizards on Friday night. He also limited him to a playoff-low four assists — well below Wall's playoff average of 11.1. Defensively, Bradley helped limit Wall to 7-of-17 shooting. There was no better player on the planet at that time. "A guy like John Wall you're not gonna stop.He does a hell of a job on him". "He makes it tough, I mean nothing's easy".

"Everyone was prepared", said Bradley.

After Game 5's explosion by Boston's supporting cast, do you see the Wizards changing their strategy again and allowing Isaiah Thomas to get his and shutting down everybody else? "My mindset was just to come out and be aggressive". He's 6-foot-2, but has enough length to bother shooters, the lateral quickness to keep opponents in front of him and the strength not to get bullied. He's also had three games in which he's recorded three or more steals.

Part of the reason is that Bradley is playing so inspired is that he is coming off a truncated 2016 postseason. The away team has been largely uncompetitive in nearly every contest, and the location of Game 6 might be the biggest factor when making a prediction for Friday night. It may come as a shock to you, but scoring the basketball consistently will more often times than not put you ahead.

Staring in the face of elimination, the Wizards return home down 3-2 in the series. Bradley said he took some comments made by Bulls All-Star Jimmy Butler between games personally.

"We had no answers for those guys", Washington coach Scott Brooks said. "I usually don't say anything, and I just go out there and play hard". I have asked the league to generally crack down on over-the-top heckling, which I have observed in a number of playoff games this year and previous years, home and away. It wasn't a must-win situation but they stepped on the Hawks' throats, opening a 19-point lead at halftime and holding on as the advantage dwindled to three points late in the game.

The Wizards' best defense is a good offense. Washington has used a few different defenders on Thomas, most of the time going with either Bradley Beal or Kelly Oubre Jr. "You can't mess with the ball when he's guarding you". Horford has shown increased production -and intensity - in the playoffs, but his demeanor is something his teammates should mimic on the floor.

When a team scores that effectively, it's nearly impossible to push the tempo.

But the praise he's received this series won't cause Bradley to slink back into a reserved posture.

Although the Wizards entered the game with momentum, having won both games three and four in DC, the Celtics quickly flipped the script in Game 5 and routed the Wiz, 123-101 on Wednesday night at the TD Garden.

"It's Boston, man", forward Markieff Morris told reporters, including Kevin Duffy of MassLive.

"I always tell people there's not a better feeling than closing out a series on someone else's court", he said.
