Crosby had a goal and an assist, Murray made 22 saves in his first start of the playoffs and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 on Friday night to even the Eastern Conference finals at 2-2.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have chose to turn to Matt Murray.

Winger Alex Burrows, who left with a leg injury in Game 3, wasn't on the ice for the morning skate Friday but coach Guy Boucher claimed he's a game-time decision. We made it for Game 4. I'll go back and see the therapists.

Marc-Andre Fleury has been benched for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference final.

However, after a disastrous Game 3 against the Senators, when Fleury was pulled after giving up four goals on nine shots in the first period, questions began to arise about whether the now-healthy Murray should reclaim his spot as the starter.

Fleury has been mostly sensational throughout the playoffs, including a shutout of Ottawa in Game 2.

The 22-year-old Murray took over from Fleury during the Penguins' postseason drive last spring, ultimately winning the Stanley Cup as the team's No. 1 despite having never played a full National Hockey League season.

"Marc was a professional like he always is", Sullivan said.

"I don't want to make this about myself", Fleury said. It was Murray's first game since April 6, which was also his last start prior to suffering a lower-body injury that kept him out until his recent return as Fleury's backup.

The Penguins won this game while playing the majority of it with five defensemen.

"He made a really big save early on with his leg save when the guy kind of went around him after a rebound and I think right after that our team went into the offensive side and really played at the puck and gave us that momentum", teammate Chris Kunitz said. "They both want to be in net; we don't always expect them to agree with our decisions". Neither goalie was available to the media on the morning of Game 4, as is customary for Penguins goalies on gameday.

The Penguins will move forward tonight without Bryan Rust, Patric Hornqvist, Justin Schultz and Tom Kuhnhackl, according to Sullivan.

"I've been working out hard - really really hard".

The Senators lead the series, 2-1.
