Harry Kane bagged four goals to take him to the top of the Premier League scoring charts as Tottenham thrashed Leicester 6-1 on Thursday.

The Belgian powerhouse has scored 24 of his Premier League goals at Everton this term and is two behind Kane in the race for this season's Golden Boot.

He is two goals ahead of Everton's Romelu Lukaku on 26 heading into the final weekend of the season with Spurs travelling to Hull and Everton going to Arsenal.

He added: "I think it was three games that I did not score and then I went on a good run".

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has "no reason" to leave the club at the end of the season, manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted.

They should have taken the lead when Dele Alli played the ball through to Son but with just the keeper to beat, the winger smashed the ball over the bar when he should have scored. It's possible things can happen in the summer but we are so calm about our key players.

The 23-year-old continued his fine exploits in front of goal with a clinical performance against defending champs Leicester on Thursday. "We are building a very exciting project".

Son Heung-min also scored twice as Spurs continued to shrug off any disappointment following Chelsea's title win. Son has 21 goals in all competitions this season.

Chelsea has taken the trophy off Leicester, which astonishingly won the title last season but collapsed this year and is now 11th.

Tottenham challenged Leicester for the title last season, before eventually finishing third.

Jamie Vardy was next to come close, but couldn't direct his powerful effort anywhere but straight at a grateful Hugo Lloris. With Fuchs trailing behind, Son teed up Kane to sweep in from six yards. The best bet is the over 2.5 goals since Spurs will be a on a frenzy and so will Hull City since neither have anything to lose in the match.

The away side were utterly dominant in the first-half but somehow could not find the target for a second time despite bossing possession and camping in the Foxes' half.

Tottenham's Harry Kane was all smiles following his four-goal performance against Leicester City. Kane currently has 26 top flight goals, now two clear of Lukaku with a match to play.

Of the three in contention, Kane has been the most ruthless in front of goal.

Again, Leicester stood off Kane at the edge of the box, and he punished them with a precise strike into Schmeichel's bottom right-hand corner.

After breaking onto the scene in the 2014/15 season, any doubts over the forward - many tipped him as a one-trick pony - have since evaporated.
