Ever since the release of the game, people have been hunting for Ditto and none of them had caught one until the November 2016, and the credit goes to the developers.

At the Pikachu Outbreak event in Yokohama, Pokémon Go players have been finding the shiny version of everyone's favorite electric rodent.

To catch Shiny Pikachu, thus far it appears that trainers will need to be inside the borders of Yokohama, Japan.

At the Pokemon Go Park, the festival's main venue, visitors on Wednesday stopped by hoping to defeat players of the augmented reality game from Japan and beyond.

Shiny versions of Pikachu and Raichu will be making their debut this week.

"Pokémon GO" is currently available for iOS and Android devices.

Shiny Pokémon are independent - in other words, two people can go to the same place and catch the same Magikarp, which has the same stats and IVs, but they won't necessarily both be Shiny. It's a Pikachu explosion, all over the place!

Shiny Pokémon's evolutions will be Shiny too - the good news, at least, is that Shiny Pokémon will evolve into Shiny Pokémon. Another reason to hold onto those Candies for any Pokémon you encounter!

There's a new warning if you try to transfer a Shiny - if you try and send a Shiny to Professor Willow, you'll get an additional pop-up warning checking that you definitely want to transfer this Shiny Pokémon. Aside from a bug fix with the raid system, shiny Pokémon are also reportedly coming to the game.
