The Mi Notebook Pro also comes with a backlit keypad, which is covered with 0.3mm concave keycaps. Compared with Apple MacBook Pro, Mi Notebook Pro features 19% larger keyboard area for increased comfort and ergonomics.
With just a hint of top screen bezel and a substantially thinner "chin" than its predecessor, the Mi MIX 2 is truly a joy to behold in both "regular" and special editions, the latter of which rocks a full ceramic body. The pack leaked ultrabook sports a 15.6-inch display with 72% NTSC color gamut and a minimal 6.52 mm wide bezels to the sides. Additionally, glass front of the Mi Notebook Pro has been bolstered by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There's a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card as well. Xiaomi has included an SSD expansion slot.
However, it is the pricing and the operating system that separates the two. This laptop also comes with fingerprint sensor to support Windows Hello authentication.
That suggests we may see the device in the country sometime next month, which will allow Xiaomi the ability to capitalize on the festival season to push its latest flagship.
