Michael Owen insists that Liverpool's success or failure in the Champions League this season will largely be down to their results at Anfield.

Liverpool have reached the Champions League group stage for just the second time in the last ten seasons and the importance of a good showing in the tournament has not been lost on Owen.

That is the opinion of pundit and former Champions League winner with Liverpool Steven Gerrard.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Klopp replied with a simple "yes", when asked whether Coutinho was in his plans for Wednesday's match.

"I had a feeling we would draw [Sevilla]", Moreno told reporters.

"Of course we can't neglect the performance after that - we have to keep it in mind - but we have another game midweek when we can prove ourselves again".

Liverpool has made the best changes over the summer, the addition of Mane and Salah means that he has a much better attack from the wings and creates more fluid play.

After avoiding Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool have to be delighted to end up with Sevilla, Maribor and Spartak Moscow.

They are so exciting going forward, with Mo Salah, Firmino and Sadio Mane offering pace and purpose, that they will give any opponents' defence a testing time.

"He has a little bit of a sore throat", said Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp.

But at least Kop boss Jurgen Klopp stayed in his dugout - which is more than opposite number Eduardo Berizzo managed.

According to a report completed by Gracenote Sports, Liverpool are the most likely British team to reach the Champions League knockout round.

Mourinho was forced to make two changes to his back four for the game against Basel at Old Trafford last night.
