Apple highlights hat 2017 has been a "big year" for apps, games, and trends in app culture.

Apple's iPhone game of the year is Splitter Critters, a creative and cute puzzler in which players navigate the game's two-dimensional world by ripping it apart and pasting it back together. Fan favorite shows such as AMC's The Walking Dead and CBS's The Big Bang Theory rounded out the top three slots.
