The key take-home we got from Samsung at CES 2018 with regard to mobile devices was that Bixby is here to stay.
CES 2018 is not the stage for the Samsung Galaxy S9, as previously rumored. However, Samsung is on hand not with the hotly anticipated new Galaxy phone, but with TV, smart home devices, and appliances - lots and lots of appliances.
As per reports, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S9 in two variants: one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and another with 4G B RAM and 128GB storage. Samsung better hurry up if it wants to be first to market, though, as we've already seen working prototypes from Lenovo. The first case listing came from smartphone and tablet accessory company Olixar.
While that was the extent of what was revealed by Koh, we have come across numerous leaks about the smartphones, one of which had also hinted at an MWC launch.
Last year, Samsung's mobile boss admitted he was hoping for a 2018 release for the folding phone. The device is also certified with IP68 Water Proofing, so no worries about being underwater. Since Korea Time is 14 hours ahead of the Eastern Time, it could well be February 26 in the US depending on the time of Samsung's event.
The sides are protected with body-colored metal rim, which holds the glass in place. Even the loudspeaker has been moved to above the lock key to refrain blockage when you hold it in landscape mode.
This phone incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back. Samsung have to push the Android Oreo update for Galaxy A8+ shortly to match the competition in its respective price-point.
Mobile operator Telia Estonia has started pre-sales of the new Samsung Galaxy A8 smartphone. It has an Always on Display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio. There's also a Live Focus feature which lets you adjust bokeh effect. Considering Samsung has polished its UI, the company has improved on the fluidity and the speed of the performance over the last few years. It packs a 3,500 mAh battery.
