Trump I am a 'very stable genius' and 'like very smart'

Trump has lashed out at Bannon over a new book that quotes his former aide questioning the president's competence. "Melania, to whom Donald Trump had made his solemn guarantee, was in tears - and not of joy". "I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius ... and a very stable genius at that!"
"I went to the best colleges, or college", he told reporters.
Trump said Bannon - who engineered the New York real estate mogul's link to the nationalist far right and helped create a pro-Trump media ecosystem - was "only in it for himself".
"Reading this book is like being forced to eat an entire five-gallon carton of ice cream in one sitting. She was confident he would win and was very happy when he did", Grisham said in a statement. In it, he describes the actions of people running the White House as everything from incompetent to illegal.
The investigation by Mueller, a former FBI director, is looking into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to get him elected - a charge the president has repeatedly and vehemently denied. The acrimony suggests a permanent split between the president and the strategist who helped him win the White House. "So, my window into Donald Trump is pretty significant".
The following are excerpts from "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House", an incendiary new book by Michael Wolff which was rushed into bookstores Friday after President Donald Trump failed to suppress it.
Trump's lawyers sent the cease and desist orders and threats of libel lawsuits to Wolff, his publisher Henry Holt and Company and to Bannon on Thursday.
Not much of a reader.
Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and then campaign chairman Paul Manafort also attended the meeting at Trump Tower in New York.
Wolff thanked the president for helping sell copies of his book and said it is opening readers' eyes.
But they were also out of stock, with Amazon advising that shipment might take two to four weeks.
Trump's fury appeared to have been provoked by the publication of startling extracts from Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House by author Michael Wolff. She is a billionaire GOP donor and co-owner of Breitbart, the populist website that Bannon helps run. "When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind", Trump said in a written statement.
Sanders also called Wolf "a guy who made up a lot of stories to try and sell books". Trump has said the book is full of lies. "Suddenly everywhere people are going 'oh my God, it's true, he has no clothes'".
