Lately, a new smartphone called Xiaomi Dipper surfaced on the Geekbench platform. It's a Mi alright but it doesn't compare to the Mi Mix line, at least, that's what we think.

Xiaomi is all set to launch its new flagship smartphone, the Mi MIX 2S, on March 27, 2018 in China. From the specifications listed in the benchmarking database, it is believed that it could be the Xiaomi Mi 7. In the fourth quarter of last year globally, according to IDC, was implemented 403,5 million "smart" mobile phones.

As 2017's most improved global smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi is naturally thinking of unveiling a whole slew of new products in the next few months, including a mysterious "Berlin" mid-ranger with an unreleased Snapdragon SoC inside, and a gaming-focused "Blackshark."

Specifications leaked about the Mi 7 prior to this hint at the device having up to 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, dual 16MP rear cameras, a 5.65-inch display at a 1080x2160 resolution and a 4480mAh battery.

If you believe the test results, the device used is not yet officially presented the Snapdragon Qualcomm 632 development. The volume and power buttons are placed on the right edge of the smartphone. Given that the display notch and facial recognition technologies have become mainstream ever since the launch of the Apple iPhone X, several Android OEMs are also coming up with such smartphones. The rear seems to be made of either glass or glossy ceramic.

While its official launch is just a couple of weeks away, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S has been leaked again in some live photos that point towards the presence of wireless charging support.

The firmware files also have references to a display notch housing the MIUI Camera, MIUI Settings, and MIUI System UI.
