April the giraffe continues to get closer to giving birth at a NY zoo.

On Sunday the Animal Adventure Park said: "April continues to be a very much pregnant giraffe!" The world has been watching the very pregnant giraffe via a live web camera for almost two weeks now. Do you see the imprint of a giraffe calf in April's bedding?

"I did not think this many people would get a kick out of this", the mother wrote of her parody, "Clearly we live an exciting life over here in the Dietrich household".

The giraffe seems calm today despite being on "edge" during a veterinary examination yesterday and acting a bit "spooky" over the weekend. Every day, millions of people tune in to watch April wander around her pen and wait for the elusive moment when she finally gives birth. "Last week, compared to this week, provides even further belly development and drop", the zoo said in it's daily update. April and Ollie are quite a pair, however, due to April's sensitive condition have been separated to protect her from Ollie's rambunctious ways.

As of Monday afternoon - after 11 days of livestreaming - April the giraffe has yet to give birth.

"Vet report is all positive and happy with progression."

One of April's fans tweeted: "I've literally been waiting for April the giraffe to have this baby for the past week".

The keepers said there's been a "significant amount of belly movement and tail raising" lately from April but that her appetite is "notably strong" and she is still in good health as the birth approaches.

Those watching the live giraffe cam are paying close attention to April's behavior as indications of signs and symptoms of labor.
